Koning Health announced on September 4, 2025 the installation of the Koning Vera Breast CT System at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach — one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades for 2024 and 2025. This installation marks the first dedicated breast CT placed inside a comprehensive breast imaging centre in the entire state of Florida.

Santorio, President and CEO of Mount Sinai Medical Center, confirmed the installation is part of preparations to open the Braman Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dual Purpose: Patient Care and Research
The Koning Vera system at Mount Sinai will serve two functions: direct commercial patient care, and clinical data collection. This dual role positions Mount Sinai as a research contributor to the growing body of evidence on breast CT as an imaging modality.
